A billion plastic toothbrushes end up in landfill every year. Our bamboo toothbrushes replace the handle — the largest component — with FSC-certified Moso bamboo that biodegrades in a home compost within 6 months. The BPA-free nylon-4 bristles should be removed before composting (a small pair of pliers does the trick). Each brush is individually wrapped in recycled kraft paper with a compostable band. Pack of 4 covers a family for a year or one person for 12–15 months of recommended 3-month replacement cycles.
